Very approachable young bourdeaux blend. Again very fruit forward. — a month ago

This is a polished, crowd-pleasing Cabernet that still shows real intent. Ripe black cherry and blackberry lead the charge, followed by notes of cocoa, vanilla, and a subtle cedar spice. The tannins are smooth and well-integrated, giving it an easy, confident structure without sacrificing depth. There’s just enough oak warmth to feel luxurious, but it never overwhelms the fruit.
I opened this during a family winter getaway in Atlantic City, one of those cold, quiet nights after the lights fade and the boardwalk winds down. It paired beautifully with a relaxed dinner and conversation, the kind of wine that elevates the moment without demanding attention. Approachable, reliable, and quietly refined. Indian Wells continues to earn its reputation as a go-to Cabernet with class. — 5 months ago

1hr+ decant. Got better over the course of three hours. See previous notes. Had a little Spanish influence to it. This rocks! — a day ago
Washington State Syrah from the Wahluke Slope AVA. Dark ruby color with a few black highlights. Aromas of cooked blue and black fruit, wet soil, purple flowers and smoked meat. Flavors of blackberry/blueberry jam, black olives, dark chocolate, dried herbs and roasted nuts. A bit of black pepper spice on the long and deeply concentrated mineral laden finish. Medium-plus body with slightly chewy fine grained tannins. Well balanced acidity and a slightly creamy texture. Quite good. Memorial Day 2026. — a month ago

Strong red blend and gentle tannins for not a lot of age, and for WA state for that matter. Was busy discussing business while drinking this so copying web tasting notes: “blackberry, marionberry, cassis, dried herbs, olive tapenade, cedar, vanilla, and coffee.” — 2 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of dinner. The 2022 pours a bright ruby color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with fresh, pretty notes of red fruits: raspberries, Bing cherry, red flowers, white pepper, rocky earth and some gentle cool and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and juicy. Drink now through 2042. — 17 days ago
