Dark garnet color with ruby highlights. Aromas of sour black cherries, forest floor and wet soil. Flavors of blackberry, black currants, blueberry and black licorice. Long and lasting finish. Soft tannins and solid balance. Nothing over the top, but an enjoyable and quaffable wine. — a month ago

Latour is definitely one of my top three Bordeaux’s.
Even their 3rd wine is special. First 2010 from the vintage I’ve opened. It didn’t disappoint. Just coming around to nice drinking and has another 10-15 years ahead. 3 hour decant.
Ribeye wine. Happy cow from Los Gatos Meats.

Nice balance of acidity and fruit for a 16 year old wine. 2010. In fact it’s pretty fantastic. A bit of stewed apricots d hints of green apple. The tertiary elements are charming as heck. Go team! — 14 days ago
Very fruit and delicious early on in decanting and after opening. Showed very well with less air contact. Super interesting that it lost a bit of its luster as it got airtime
Overall did well at Bocuse restaurant at CIA NY. — 6 hours ago
Magnum from winery in early 00s. Perfect color and big, deep aromas of cassis, horsehair, menthol & sage and vanilla oak, A polished feel (new oak). Just smooth & effortless, hardly any tannin on the finish. No sediment! Shows liveliness of its younger years, big sweet fruit and slight alcohol (like old whiskey). Stunned it kept in perfect condition — 4 days ago

2019 vintage. Medium-heavy body. Clove, cigarette smoke, plum and dark cherry rollicking about. Drinking as smoothly as a deep river currently. 04.25.25. — 11 days ago
