Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90min. The 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo “Pian delle Mole” pours a pale garnet with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: Morello cherry, loads of tar, dusty earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose though the red fruits show more like ripe strawberry. Finish is medium. Drink now. — 4 months ago

Vintage 2016 | I am learning on Nebbiolo and this is good practice material. See the description of 2016 of @Lyle Fass very adequate. A treat! — 5 months ago
Rich honey color. Long lasting legs. Light bouquet with hints of oak and slightly floral. Smooth flavors. Light taste with a slightly sweet finish. Light and smooth. — a month ago
Paired with brisket. Yum! Better the second day; give it some time to open. — 3 months ago

Tawny coloration with the slightest bit of transparency. On the nose, cherry, currants, plum, forest floor, sweet tobacco and florals. On the palate, full body, cherry, plum, spice, leather, sweet tobacco, earth/dust/minerals, tannins strong and chewy. Long finish of chocolate and sweet berry. Layered and complex wine. — 18 days ago
