2019 vintage. Replaces the same vintage La Vilella Alta (Garnacha, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon) offering from this producer btg and is comprised of Garnacha and Carignan. Grip. Velveteen fruit. Initial sweetness ended with pleasant tartness. Will pair nicely with nearly any land-based animal protein and grilled veggies. 09.24.25. — 4 months ago
I have always been a fan of the wines from this domain. Now at age 15/16 this wine stands firm! Everything comes together with a nose of red fruit, licorice, leathersoap. The mouthfeeling is silky, cherries you know these big black ones, subtle acidity making you want to drink more but no need as the finish takes you over the minute. Fantastic wine! — 9 months ago

Great wine combining southern burgundy richness, use of luxurious oak, great acidity and low alc levels. Wonder how this ages.. Tx @Jan A for pointing this one out!. — 2 months ago
Cherries, raspberries and a hint of minty chocolate, high alcohol packed in minirality. Very pleasant — 4 months ago
had this years ago and i feel like they've made some great strides: Monastrell from Yecla can be flabby fruit bombs, but this is a legit wine, great old vine material, had some of the secondary aromas & flavors from southern France, some of that feral quality, some iodine, white pepper along with copious amounts of black & red fruit. polished & poised, smooth thru nice finish — 7 months ago
