Paired well with our burger. — 5 years ago
Super Tuscan blend of Merlot (75%) and Sangiovese (25%). Dark ruby/purple color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of dark cherry/berry fruit, forest floor, leather, graphite and wild herbs. Flavors of black cherry/berry and blueberry fruit, cola, tobacco and dark chocolate. Bit of vanilla on the long and drawn out finish. Firm, but well structured tannins and just enough acidity. Powerful structure, full bodied and fairly well balanced. Quite dense and rich. Better with a decant. — a month ago
Although this isn’t a Barolo, I did drink it there. Close enough as it is from Asti, which was about 20 mins down the road. I mean come on. This was great. Dark fruits like black cherries and reminded me of plums with its taste and its tannins. Had some spice and oak that balanced with the fruit nicely. High acidity but still has a lot of body and depth. Tannins were soft but present. Felt like a polished and serious wine that was excellent alongside our “piedmontese” meal. — 5 months ago

A fan favorite from SLO. Central coast fruit, primarily from Paso. Excellent Tempranillo for Spanish appreciators. — 5 years ago
A mature, complex wine. Needs time to open but I think it's fully developed. Pungent raspberry and darker fruit, soil, tannic still. Great bottle, gift from Glen. — 3 months ago
Really great wine. Crowd pleaser. Bigger and fruit and oak but decent enough balance. I liked it. — 3 months ago

100% Cortese grape. Light straw gold color. Aromas of tropical, orchards and citrus fruit, wet gravel and white flowers. Flavors of green apples and pears, lemon zest, white peach, raw almonds and a prevalent mineral core. Slight bit of saline on the medium finish. Bright acidity and medium bodied. Lacking some complexity, freshness and texture. Slightly past its peak. Ordered at Frescos in Lincoln, RI. — 11 days ago
