I mean this wine is so money. Smooth, fruity, Italian rusticity in the best way. Unbelievable — a month ago
This didn't upload properly with my notes but I'm liking these Sangiovese's with a 4-5% blend of Merlot - it rounds them out and makes them more approachable because you can't pair with a wild boar ragout pasta every night of the week.

Bright this back from the AMA Bordeaux cruise. 2018 vs previous 2016 vintage. Bouquet of soft sour cherries! Dusty dry upfront of tannic dark sour cherries. Soft dusty finish. Nice old world flavors. — a year ago
Late release from the winery last year. — 4 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed with a selection of cheeses. The 2007 pours a deep amber color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with unctuous notes of dried apricot, honey, and candied nuts. On the palate, the wine is sweet with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is long. Seems like it will have a long life. Drink now through ????. — 5 months ago

This chianti totally exceeded my expectations. Plum and dark cherry with slight hints of leather on the nose. The flavors really erupt on the palate, with vibrant acidity amplifying the pomegranate, cherry, and orange citrus flavors. There are hints of earthy cinnamon on the palate as well. Nice finish with orange and bitter cocoa notes. So good, and went well with meatball ricotta pizza. After finishing, I read up on the maker and found that they’re a top notch producer, so maybe I shouldn’t have been so surprised about the quality. They also didn’t make any of their sangiovese-based reserve wines in 2023, so all their sangiovese grapes were used in this. Such a tasty bottle and for only $34. — 13 days ago
