Gotta agree with my previous notes. Great wine. Drinking really well right now. — 5 months ago
Zesty, cheek puckering, mineral driven. — 7 months ago
Smooth! Jammy aftertaste. Not incredibly sweet. Good recommendation for a first try of red. (XI buy) — 12 days ago
Deep purple in color; blackberries, black plums, and graphite on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like red plums, sage, and clay pots with a long finish. Bri and I liked it. — 3 months ago

First time? It’s a well made wine but not gonna last. One more to go — 10 days ago
blackberry, kalamata, assuaged tannins, in retrospect would’ve decanted a few hours ahead. — 3 months ago

This wine is absolutely gorgeous! Give it a 30 min rest in the glass. Bright ripe fruit nose. Silky mouthfeel, the perfectly ripe black and blue fruit comes forth, followed by intense minerality, soft yet grippy tannins leaving a slightly chalky mouthfeel. So elegant, such finesse. Graphite, black licorice, blueberry pie, baking spices, hint of mocha. Superb medium-long finish. It’s this experience that makes Dr Crane one of my favorite vineyards. Absolutely love this wine and this vineyard! — 5 days ago
