What a lovely wine! The nose is a bit deceiving of what is coming upon the first sip and it just keeps getting better! Extremely smooth and the full flavors seem to be delayed and then just swell at the back of the throat and on the tongue. This is Tuscan wine that is truly “super Tucsan”! No wonder it has a solid 93 points across the board! — 13 days ago
3.5. Quite a wonderful Maremma Toscana. Deep fruit with some up-front spiciness. On sale for $22.99, regularly $26.99. The 2020 vintage is lovely. — 18 days ago
Quite a healthy ruby garnet core and thin garnet rim . Quite herbal and funky on the nose at first , then with spiced cherry, pomegranate, leather and dried sage. On the palate this has sweet red fruits , pomegranate and high acidity , fine tannins and a decent dried herb tinged finish . This is drinking well now and will continue to do so over the next 5 years — 22 days ago

Gripping and delicious — 19 days ago
Saw this for $50 with some nice age and wanted to try it. Opened a couple hours before dinner but no decant. Could have used the decant in general, lots of yeasty sediment. Really quite delicious. Restrained, earthy, slightly bitter in a good way. Excellent mouthfeel. Good fruit balanced by good acid and just enough tannin. — a month ago

Elegant and at 30 years really starting to show its age with a bit too much oxidation. The finesse and elegant structure, the valve between fruit and acidity is still there but the wine is showing mainly tertiary elements now - lots of dried herbs, mint, mushroom and earth with just hints of the plum, black cherry and blueberry that were once there. Very long finish ands very much for those who appreciate aged wines. — 20 days ago
