The Grand Cru of Cava? Corpinnat (Heart of Penedes) is a special designation by a group of estates (currently 11) who broke tie with the Cava D.O. This one was disgorged in 12/2023.
Aromatic nose of green apple, peach, chalk, light brioche, and hint of white floral. Vibrant, round, and precise. Very impressive, particularly when considering this is a brut nature.

Made from Macabeu, Xarel·lo and Parellada grapes, bright pale gold color with a frothy creamy mousse, small rapid bubble flow with a steady stream. Aromas and flavors of apple and citrus with toasty notes, integrated, nice mouthfeel, elegant long finish. Great value as an exceptional alternative to French Champagne. — 5 months ago
Needs a little bit of air. Red fruit that at first seems over extracted and then mellows a bit to reveal some mushroom earthy notes — a month ago

One of America’s best, in winemaker Maggie Harrison. Great to find this on a list with a bit of age. There’s such a beguiling combination of savory earth, mineral and rich cherry fruit flavors, with killer concentration, a plush texture and serious length. Top notch Domestic Pinot for sure. — 5 months ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 60% Macabeo, 25% Xarel·lo, and 15% Parellada, organically-farmed, aged for 18 months before disgorgement, pale straw lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruit, baked bread notes with a mineral tang, light bubbles and mousse. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus, dry with nutty biscuit notes, medium finish ending with a toasty citrus floral mineral character. — 10 days ago
