What a beauty. Big red fruits. — 31 minutes ago
Last of three bottles of this. It’s never been the fruitiest or friendliest Brunello. And it’s still quite tannic, but it’s resolving well and, in my view, at its peak. To wait longer for the remaining tannins to fully drop would be at the expense of the remaining fruit. Color is going brown at the rim. Nice intensity and decent balance right now. Mostly tertiary notes, but there is a core of morphing fruit underneath. Should go well with the Tuscan beef stew (Peposo) I’m making. — 2 months ago
We had the 2007 Vintage on 2/21/26. An excellent aged Brunello. Leather, tobacco, raspberry, and rose petals. All the expected scents and flavors are there. I am glad we had this now; probably not going to be good much longer — 23 days ago
This is a bit more dense and complex on the nose , denser fruits perhaps with some cedar , herbal hints along side the slightly bitter cherries . This fills out more on the palate , is longer and more intense , touch of herbal bitter cherries and pine sap. Really long and fresh . Needs time but has all the qualities to age well over the next 10 years . At Vinous Icons NY , Pier 60 , Feb 2025. — 8 months ago

2023 vintage, deep cherry and floral aromas on the nose, light fruit forward taste with a smooth finish; decently balanced Sangiovese, great pairing with bolognese. — 9 days ago
