Kinda like a beaune village wine. Floral with medium body. A bit lean as an 14 — 6 years ago

The 2015 BDX continue to amaze and this Fronsac fits the bill. No decanting necessary. Jumping out of the bottle with beautiful red fruit and cassis notes, silky, and nicely balanced and integrated tannins, at such a young age, I am amazed. Feels like drinking a Grand Cru from a slightly lesser vintage. Great value too. If I can find it, I’ll buy a case. Hopefully two. — 6 years ago
Clear, deep ruby to purple in color; on the nose, it’s clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cassis, blackberries, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with medium plus acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and medium intensity primary and secondary flavors of black plums, blueberries, and crushed gravel with a long finish. This wine is balanced and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. I think it would have improved with age, or more time in a decanter. — 2 months ago
Belle pureté, fruits croquants, framboises, fraise, la finesse, longue finale — 4 years ago
Quintessential Beaune. Quite young, but already showing some soft edges. Cherry notes combine with cinnamon and a hint of nutmeg. This is not for the long haul, but is presenting well right now. Finishes dry, so in my mind, this requires food - Nougatine at Jean Georges. — 5 years ago
