2012 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 1.25 hours open. Heavy body. Always too soon/early with these wines, whether white or red. Likely shouldn't be approached or flirted with for another 15 years to properly evaluate. Some chunky bite but mostly über-smooth bark. Light, translucent gold color. Massive pencil shavings on the nose with subtle petrol and stewed pineapples. Sweet pineapples on the palate with medium plus depth. Medium finish. Very nice. — 4 months ago
