2019 vintage. Tasted after 2 hours open. Medium body. Big lanolin and prominent acidity with some pineapple and guava notes open for business. Lemon curd rolling through like it owns the place (perhaps it do). Easy 7-8 years Smokey Robinson cruising together based on remaining acidity. The 2007 Montrachet pours a bright yellow color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with insane notes of ripe orchard fruit and a little tropical fruit too: peach, Meyer lemon, lime, even some orange along with starfruit, and passion fruit. There’s also honeysuckle, some nuts and OMG, don’t even get me started on the minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is forever long. The fruit and acid are in perfect balance. A wow wine in a line-up of wow wines. Drink now and through 2047. — 3 months ago

2014 vintage. Decanted and tasted multiple times at multiple temps from 30 mins open-3 hrs open and 45-60 degrees. Color somewhere between golden and Chartreuse yellow. Plenty of ripeness with remaining acidity crawling along the palate baseline. Do not see this improving but surmise it can hold steady at this mature Burgundy status for another 3-4 years. 02.22.25. — 3 months ago
