Dark rubi robe, nose of dark fruits and stems, top soil. Very elegant in the mouth with dark berries, a hint of spices and a stemmy register that is probably… from stems. Good stuff in a mature style. We liked it a lot. — 3 months ago

Saumur cab franc that drinks more like a Sauvignon- it’s powerful, builds intensity, & linear somehow even though it maintains it’s light/medium body. What a find. Never heard of producer. Mature raspberries, blackberries & just a balanced purity of fruit that hooked me. curiously devoid of those pencil shavings or green notes typical in cab franc. For about 17$ an outrageous value & can’t wait to try their more expensive cuvées. — 3 years ago
