The 2021 Chiesamonti is a potent, full-bodied wine that is going to need time to unwind. Herbs, wildflowers, spice, leather and menthol build in this backward, potent red from Le Boncie. There’s plenty of stuffing and textural intensity in this deep, resonant wine. I can't wait to see how it ages. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, July 2024)

The full body, bold taste lingers on your palette so you can savour the strong flavour long after you swallow. July 2022 — 4 years ago
This 2018 #pinotgrigio is just as sophisticated as the 2015 I drank a few years ago. Citrus, green orchard fruit, wet stone aromas with slight white flower undertones, a fleshier weight on the palate, mineral layers. This PG gets more expressive and enjoyable as it warms up in the glass. #wsjwineclub — 6 years ago
Took a minute but did really greatly enjoy this wine after it opened up. Slightly chilled helped. Good before and with meal. Cosgrove. — 18 days ago

Great white wine with very rich fruity taste. — 3 years ago
A great expression of Emilia–Romagna Sangiovese. On par with a Chianti Classico Riserva but at fraction of price. — 7 years ago
2023 vintage. Easy to drink. Blackberries and oregano in the nose. Well made wine with Dried blackberries, a little smoky bacon, marjoram, the tannin here is balanced with acid. I get savory and meaty flavors. — 3 months ago
Salty apricot. Kind of chuggable.

What a beauty! Black cherry, plum, licorice, a bit of spice. Long, long, looooong finish. So balanced with structure, but mellow as well. Sublime. — 2 years ago

Splash decanted and enjoyed over the course of two hours. The 2019 pours a deep garnet color with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of Morello cherry, red flowers, black tea, dried green herbs and gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and has that Ciacci Piccolomini silkiness. I felt the 2019 was a little reticent for the first 30min (not at all surprised) but opened beautifully after that and continued to build steam until the last glass. Very easy to enjoy and fabulous with bolognese. Drink now with a 30min decant and through 2044 — a month ago
