[Back label says 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, and then (in a burst of French mathematical genius), the remaining 30% (hey, that’s what the label actually says), Malbec, Merlot, Syra (their spelling), Canernet Franc, Pinot (unspecified which Pinot??), and Tannat] OK, not trying to goof on the winery or the importer (uh, KLWM!?!?), but weird math and unclear varietal composition is kinda just odd, at best, or just weird?!?!?’ Production was 75,000 bouteilles, 1,400 magnums, 100 jeroboams, and 25 mathusalems (their spelling, not mine)??!!
OK, first whiff, I could honestly care less what the actual grape cepage is, tons of garrigue, but at age 40 still quite fresh, most of the tannic structure has faded away, but this shows those awesome tertiary notes, along with clear bottle sweetness, which makes these older bottles so amazing and, frankly, compelling to drink!! Great southern French wine from the Pays de l’Herault, super long finish, WOW!!! — 3 days ago

Anyone who thinks Bojo does not age never tasted this wine. Beautiful aromas of dried black cherry, cranberry and smoke. My palate was assaulted with flavors of black & red cherries, cinnamon, spice and minerals. Plenty of acid despite the warm year. So obvious it was made by a Burgundy producer. Vintage 1986 | Just married, buying a house, we had no money for Mouton, for sure. I was so happy to find this 1986 Dutch bottling, that was incredibly hard to taste young. At our copper wedding anniversary the cook used it to my surprise for a fine monkfish in red wine sauce, the wine to partner it. The magnums still had a lot of tannins then. This week we celebrated 40 y wedding, and when we came home I opened this Gros Moulin 86. Beautiful bright colour, nice smell with spicyness, laurel, supple taste. We have had Gros Moulin of many years, Côtes de Bourg can be underestimated. We enjoyed the bottle with the two of us - very satisfied - with some parmesan cheese. — 6 days ago

Damn! It opened up with liquorice (sic.) and had just everything else in it. Mushrooms, turned earth, a touch of burnt honey and finally hiding just a hint of caramelized pineapple that lingers till the end.
