Woods, woods, & autumnal woods.
Light brown/reds abound. Cherries and leather and dead leaves, trees. Definitely a wine that hasn’t been futzed with. Gulpable as L.F. is known do say.
Hits those casual Nebbiolo notes across the spectrum, perfect w left over Sunday gray and ravioli.

This has filled out nicely since my last bottle. Earthy, deeply cherryish nose. In the mouth, it’s dense but lithe macerated cherry, getting savory on the long finish. Full, but with nice acids. Damn this was an amazing value. I’m sorry that this is my last one. — 6 months ago

Wow, a beautifully aging wine, nose clearly showed age with some tobacco, dried fruits, and a hint of a lizard’s cherry! Wine still has vibrant tannins and dark fruit elegance persists for a nice balance while it developed in the glass. 1993 vintage opened and drank on 25Feb2026!!! Enjoy — 24 days ago

Nice lighter style of Nebbiolo from alto Piemonte. Light red florals on the expressive nose. Lighter red herby fruit on the palate. Good acid and medium minus tannins. Good wine with cheeses and various cured meats for an appetizer course. — 3 months ago
