Not really memorable. No formal notes. Typically I like this producer as he is still reasonable in price. But this rendition did not convince. — 4 months ago
Picked up two cases worth of 2023 1/2 bottles from this producer last week...one case of Gevrey Champonnet, and 6 btls apiece of Gevrey Estournelles and Gevrey Lavaut/St. Jacques. Pricing was, as you said, reasonable, and, unless mistaken, 1er Cru juice.
Probably my favorite St. Emillion. First had it at a restaurant in St. Emillion (2006 vintage?) and brought some back home. Had several 2009 vintage bottles since. Love this wine. — 5 months ago
70% Pinot and 30% Gamay. Pretty feisty right out of the gate. Immediately reads Burgundian, true to place. Could probably use a bit more time to settle in. — 3 months ago
Either better bottle or aging helped. Much better compared to the bottle i tried in 2019. No formal notes. But i would say drink up. 20 years is enough. — 6 months ago

Falls just short of a Power Perrieres, still a cut above. — 6 days ago
