Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2023 pours a straw color with a watery rim; medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of dried apricot, cantaloupe, yellow flowers, match stick and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Hubby had this one without me (!!). A cheap Italian blend for $13 but its quite delicious and complex. Interesting cider donut spice with cocoa and vanilla but also some basil and nutmeg. It’s a wild ride. Jealous that I missed it. — 3 days ago
