Wow, a beautifully aging wine, nose clearly showed age with some tobacco, dried fruits, and a hint of a lizard’s cherry! Nice lighter style of Nebbiolo from alto Piemonte. Light red florals on the expressive nose. Lighter red herby fruit on the palate. Good acid and medium minus tannins. Good wine with cheeses and various cured meats for an appetizer course. — 3 months ago

This has filled out nicely since my last bottle. Earthy, deeply cherryish nose. In the mouth, it’s dense but lithe macerated cherry, getting savory on the long finish. Full, but with nice acids. Damn this was an amazing value. I’m sorry that this is my last one. — 6 months ago
