I literally gave up on domestic Chardonnay...but I love the flavor profile—Tart, juicy Granny Smith and ripe sweet pear. No discernible oak, light crisp acid/ fruit balance and ABV under 13. What a food wine! Every time I pop an Enfield, I congratulate myself on my perspicuity and good sense. It’s not hard to drink well, just ignore the big names and hype. — 6 years ago
I was super excited to try my first wine from Enfield. I think this was also my first Tempranillo (although I guess I’ve had Rioja. But I didn’t know the grape was Tempranillo at the time.) Anyway when we first opened it the aroma was warm cranberry sauce. And then as it was opened the aroma changed. To more rich berries and then a little more smoky. The wine is smooth and balanced with gentle but gripping tannins.. It’s a beautiful color. The weight is lighter than I thought it would be. It would’ve gone well with meat, like grilled steak maybe. It was beautiful. A wonderful experience. — 7 years ago
Young and fresh but showing many of the Dolinsek’s traditional traits: a big nose of blue and black fruits followed by a fruit forward wine of the same. It’s got bright acidity and firm tannins with a hint of black olive and pepper deeper in the wine. Drinking well now with loads of potential. — 2 months ago
Very hipster tattoo styled label. 52% Petite Verdot, 25% Cab Sauv, 23% Malbec. Dark, dark maroon color. Aroma is gravel and molasses. Maybe a hint of berry. Flavors are beefy and big. Lots of dried black cherry. Some molasses. Tannins are well represented. Has that classic Matchbook herbal streak. This went well with the lamb and mushroom dish I made. A great blend. Lots of zip and zing. Delicious. — 5 months ago
Really great. Straight out of the bottle I got highly enjoyable fizzy blackberries. Once it opened up, it was more full bodied and tannic. Paired well if not necessarily “recommended” with penna alla vodka. — 6 years ago

14.1% ABV Blend of Semillon from Monte Rosso Vineyard + Sauv Blanc from Bedrock, Judge & Uboldi vineyards for “brightness & aromatics”. Job well done. Really nice! — 3 years ago
Founded 1972, Tom & Sally Jordan, from CO, went to CA’s wine country & produced inaugural vintage in 1976. A Fav of mine with a steak, and the ‘17 hits the mark! Blend of mostly Cab Sauv with Merlot, Petit Verdot & Malbec. Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruit, floral & spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and fig with oak, sweet spice, leather & cacao notes. Rich tannins, well balanced and integrated with fruit & oak. Very Nice! — 4 years ago
Drinking well now, doubtful it would benefit from additional age. — 6 years ago
Delicious Pinot. Well balanced fruit with dark cherry flavors and soft tannins. It was even better on day 2. — 7 years ago

Actually a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (77%), Merlot (12%), Malbec (5%), Cabernet Franc (4%) Petite Verdot (2%). Dark ruby color with some purple highlights. Aroma of ripe black fruit, violets, cedar and burnt caramel. Flavors of black berry/currant/plum fruit, black tea, savory herbs and spices. Lingering finish, plush, well balanced with fine grained tannins. Solid value. Enjoyed at Thyme Rooftop Restaurant with Keith S! — 2 months ago
