Writing about this wine because of the uniqueness of the bouquet on the nose. the dominating profile is of decayed flowers. Even the fruit that shines through comes in through that. it smells like walking through a cemetery in europe, quite pleasant if you forgive the morbid analogy. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Delicious throughout. The 2021 pours a bright garnet color with transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of Morello cherry, raspberry, cranberry, red flowers, orange zest, some tar, talcum powder, dried herbs and dry, organic earth. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. This is about as sapid of a young Classico I’ve had from Produttori. It’s a bold wine right now but some time on its side will bring more into balance. Drink now with some patience through 2051. — 3 days ago

Beautiful nose of cherries, blueberries, earth, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf and herbs.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, raspberries, currants, light wood, spices, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and cherries.

This is a delicious Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley in California. Rich, and not too fruity, smooth and soft.

Already drinking beautifully, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

This Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is complex, elegant and nicely balanced. Feels like an old world Pinot.

A great sipping wine that will also pair nicely with food.

100% Pinot Noir grapes were aged for 15 months in (40% new) French oak barrels. A small production of only 6,000 bottles.

this was great - i tend to roll the dice with wines from Uruguay w/mixed results but this over achieved: deep ruby opaque wafting impressive black & red fruit, deep rich generous, along with typical CF medley of cracked pepper, herbaceous, and some bell pepper notes. This is a “Nature” Blanc de Blanc and bone dry. I used to not enjoy Nature’s so much not long ago. Then, I gravitated to EB’s and once that got put into gear, Nature’s came naturally

The first sip is delicious. It starts with bruised pear/red apple, married to a strong presence of volcanic minerals, bitty, gritty chalk/limestone and elevated white spice, tropical melons follow-yellow watermelon, not very ripe mango, some pineapple, white stone fruits, green apple follows & circles the above, graham cracker crust, vanillin, caramel, biscuits, sea spray to saline, sea fossils-oyster shells, dry river stone, yellow & white flowers set in greens, hints of jasmine, fruit blossoms, crisp acidity, incredibly well balanced/toned/structured, great length w/ a beautiful finish that lasts two-minutes and long sets on spice & minerals.

Beautiful Champagne that will benefit from 5 plus yrs of cellaring. — 4 days ago
