What a delightful wine! Bright and racy, and with a mineral tang that made it absolutely perfect with sushi. — 6 months ago

Nice Brunello and a real value at Wegmans’ price. Blackberry and stewed plum, cinnamon and leather, chewy tannins, juicy. Not too heavy. — 8 months ago
After tasting the whole range from Argiolas you also realise how they got to this blend.
This is stunning, it absorbed 18 months of new oak easy.
Cannonau gives the freshness and the fruit with the carignan, the bovale donates the tannin and the floral shade and Malvasia Nera the aromatic.
Super velvety, fresh, complex and above all long.

Personally i found this the great surprise of the line up.
Mainly Bovale finished off with some cannonau and carignan.
9 months of new barrique which the wine digests incredibly well.
Nice fruit, but the floral that the Bovale gives to the wine truly fascinates me and keeps me interested during every sip. Spices too plus leather and tobacco.
Tannin that will get smoother, but is already enjoyable.
Long finish
Serious alternative for cabernet drinkers
It is not the Turriga, but honestly i did not remember its beauty. Very elegant — a year ago
Received from Italy - I enjoy Aglianico wines and this did not disappoint. — a year ago

The nose is layered and expressive, opening with black cherry, plum, and cassis, followed by notes of , tobacco leaf, leather. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with softened but still present tannins providing structure. Dark fruit flavors are complemented by earth, licorice, espresso, and a touch of mineral. The acidity remains well-integrated, lending lift and balance despite the wine’s concentration.
At age 19 this is drinking beautifully now, offering both power and nuance, while still capable of holding for several more years — 5 months ago
