Thus was nice. Tart, clean, crisp. Strawberries and saline. I only had a few sips as this was my brides wine. At Carusos in Montecito — a month ago

A grower champagne I always enjoy, but I’ve not had their special club offering with this much age before. I’ve been missing out! A stunner!
54% Cramant, 31% Chouilly (both Grand Crus), with 15% Cuis (Premier Cru); all old vines. Disgorged July 2012; 6g/l dosage
This may be an example of hitting lightening in a bottle, but this caught me (and others I was with) totally off-guard at how youthful it was…and more importantly, how unbelievably good it was. Channeling an oxidative flair at this point in its evolution, this scratched the itch for creamy, powerful, golden champagne. Autolysis on full display (in the best way) with lemon scone, honey roasted cashews, spiced pears aromatically. Honeyed graham crackers, lemon cream, Biscotti cookie, kiss of ginger and plenty of chalky limestone grit toward the finish (but the sweet autolysis lengthens it out beautifully). For me, this tasted like this was the exact right day to catch this wine at peak.
I wish I had a case of these. — 2 months ago
Fruit sourced from 3 parcels located in terroir of Les Chetillons at Le Mesnil sur Oger, 100% Chardonnay. Pale golden lemon color with frothy mousse and lively bead of bubbles. A nose of fresh fruit with yeast, nutty notes and floral scents. On the palate flavors of peach, apricot and lemon citrus flavors, floral with biscuit tones. Great balance with acidity, delicate textures, long finish ending creamy with toasty smoky oak and chalky mineral biscuit character. Nice! — 4 months ago
Consistency is their middle name.
This has just started to shift from fresh to aging.
Bruised red apple/pear, lemon, lime zest, tropical melons, drier stone fruits, whipped cream, ginger, brioche, graham cracker, very light caramel/butterscotch notes, grey volcanics, limestone marl, sea fossils, gritty chalk, white & yellow flowers with greens, excellent lively acidity and a well balanced-knitted, elegant & smartly polished finish that lasts near two-minutes. — 9 months ago

Hard to find Extra Brut in 375 ml’s where I shop and seek online. This is very solid always. Bouzy also one of my favorite places for champagne.
For a Pinot that is 80% of the blend here, you sure get lots of green apple, golden apple & apple cider. There is noticeable tangerine, white citrus blend-lemon, lime & both grapefruits. Ginger & ginger-ale, sea fossils/spray, limestone marl w/ bits, bread dough to baguette crust, graham cracker crust, malt, volcanic minerals w/ash, lighter caramel, butterscotch candy, vanillin, frothy cream, white orchids and spring flowers, lively, zippy acidity, well; toned, structured, balance with a beautiful two- minute finish that lands on minerals & spice. — a month ago

From a half bottle. Popped and poured; no formal notes. Persistent mousse. Lovely notes of white peach, pear, brioche and chalky minerals. Super well balanced. Gimonnet rarely disappoints. A multi-vintage blend from 2010-2019. Disgorged May 31, 2021. Dosage 6 g/L. — 4 years ago

Slightly disappointed, had higher hopes based on the reviews. Although company was great, NYT, couch, candle, cheeseboard. #CPtheVP — 15 hours ago
