Nose- rose petals, leather and turf. I get some annisette, cherry, and earth on the palate. Tannins are moderate. This could age a bit more. I was surprised it was a little thin. Enjoyed with pasta and a rich guancale/ sausage tomato sauce. — 2 months ago

Great examplar of the old school Barolo…decanted 90 mins….seriously pungent/truly gorgeous nose, more refined on the palate but lots of fruit, still a bit wooden/tannic - not offensively so but could probably mellow another 5 years. But very drinkable now, perfect with a heavy roast. Nose is so fragrant I could go around sniffing this all day — 2 months ago
