Second pour of Gamay and it doesn’t disappoint, fresh fruit, velvety tannins, and great balance. This wine has nice fresh red fruit, spices and a bit black pepper and a delight!! Enjoying with chicken and pasta dish, perfect pair!! — 3 months ago
Nice crisp Gamay. Dark fruits. Some earthiness which I like! Having this in Paris at Freddy’s! — 5 months ago
very pleasant, elegant, all kinds of cherry, raspberry and red currant on nose, some red florals, spice and an herbal note. great varietal typicity w/out carbonics - legit, classic style, has many more years ahead, mild tannins and decent acidity make this versatile for food options — 8 months ago

Dusty patina (like walking through a Japanese temple) pomegranate and cranberry. Mixed white and black peppercorns. Uplifting acid (in a good way) that super complements food. TBL — 4 years ago
Ruby coloration. On the nose, currants, Dark berries. On the palate, currants, dark berry, cassis. Tannins are still strong after 15 years. — 5 years ago
Beautiful soft Burgundy red. But this Burgundy wine is darker than normal. Soft, gentle tannins. Juicy prune, soft fruit. Love this wine. — a month ago

Generous fruit and spice with sufficient structure and acidity. A charmer — 3 months ago

“La Rochelle” is a 5ha lieu-dit in Moulin-à-Vent with a reputation for making wines that have great potential for aging. This is but a wee babe. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Slightly better on Day 2. The 2022 pours a ruby purple with medium viscosity and some staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe red and black fruit: desiccated raspberries, black cherry, pomegranate, flowers, dried herbs, a touch of barnyard, warm spices, and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and slightly spicy. This is really high quality juice. Bravo. Drink now through 2042. — a year ago
Nice Burgundy style Bojo, nice red fruit, good acidity, supple tannins yet the wine has balance and some depth, but I think you need to drink up, won’t last that long. 88-89
Beau Bojo de style Bourguignon, fruits rouges, belle acidité, tannins assez souples, un beau vin équilibré. Par contre, je pense qu’il faut boire assez rapidement si on veut apprécier sur le fruit. — 5 years ago
Anyone who thinks Bojo does not age never tasted this wine. Beautiful aromas of dried black cherry, cranberry and smoke. My palate was assaulted with flavors of black & red cherries, cinnamon, spice and minerals. Plenty of acid despite the warm year. So obvious it was made by a Burgundy producer. A perfect cork helps. — 3 months ago

Bought this 2020 cru at $50. While in Cleveland. Was assured it was worth every penny it and it is outstanding. Crushed dark fruits including fig with spices. Juniper, pine, camphor oil, leather and bitter orange peel. Truly one of the biggest and most complex Moulin a Vents I’ve ever had. A wintry wine for roasted foods. Has easily another 5 years ahead of it. — 4 months ago

Dark ruby. Inviting nose of baked black cherry and hints of leather. Brighter cherry and softer leather on the medium full palate adding red apple peel, light tannins, and medium acidity. Finish is moderate and continues the palate before a quick drop off. Very nice and a value at under $50. Drink now through 2030. — a month ago
