Big rich fruity wine with white fruit and berries. — a month ago
Six vintages blended…70% 2021 as the base…30% 2014-20. Dosage 6g…rides the fence of Extra Brut-Brut. Disgorged 1/25.
I enjoy this producer’s style more & more and its relative value in Champagne. From 375ml.
Nice mousse with lively, crisp acidity. Green apple, lime pulp w/ zest, tropicals, kiwi, lemon drops, vanilla, frothy cream, caramel, butterscotch-toffee, white spice with palate penetrating heat, dry herbs, saline-sea fossils, volcanics, gritty chalk, dry limestone, brioche. Yellow lilies, white spring flowers, excellent balance-structure, good length and a finish of nearly two-minutes and long sets on volcanics & spice. — 2 days ago
Consistency is their middle name.
This has just started to shift from fresh to aging.
Bruised red apple/pear, lemon, lime zest, tropical melons, drier stone fruits, whipped cream, ginger, brioche, graham cracker, very light caramel/butterscotch notes, grey volcanics, limestone marl, sea fossils, gritty chalk, white & yellow flowers with greens, excellent lively acidity and a well balanced-knitted, elegant & smartly polished finish that lasts near two-minutes. — 4 months ago

After that previous drain pour, this solid 2004 CdP is drinking very well, mature dark fruits, good balance, lingering finish, actually very fine!! — 17 days ago
