Surprisingly fresh with 25y of age - with wilted flowers and some shy, dusty cherry.
Nice pure fruit in the forefront of the palate with a bit of undergrowth & musty cellar in the back. Tannins still firm and acidity fresh. Nice purity.

Nice tar, juicy dried roses, mushroom and earth, a little cedar, stewed red berries. Good acid, grippy tannins, maybe without the mellow roundness of great, mature Barolo but nice and tasty for the price. 👍
