Merry Christmas!!
375ml. Translucent dark gold color with subtle orange hues. Beeswax, honeysuckle, and butterscotch on the nose. Past prime but I like it and maybe this is how it’s supposed to be. Gets better with air. Nice depth and a long finish. — 3 months ago
Delicious, deep red, full body, spicy finish. — 21 days ago

Drank with Stallings at Christmas happy hour. Very good light burgundy. Great with charcuterie plate or by itself. — 3 months ago
Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte was created in 1976 as an exclusive Reserve Champagne that today remains the guardian of their quality and style. A blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Pale yellow with plenty of tiny bubbles and aromas of stone fruits. On the palate peach, apple and pear with generous mineral tones. Lingering finish ending with citrus and chalky notes. A clear ruby color in the glass with a deeper, darker core. A wide brim and sexy legs. A very provocative nose showcasing the customary Burgundy aromas of ripe cherries, cranberries, and grassy knoll. Violets and mild spice. Beautifully clean funk permeates from the glass and I can’t get enough of it.
Pataille’s range of wines obviously carry a lot of hype and they constantly hit the mark. Lovely, fresh, effervescent wines through and through. Ignore the simple Bourgogne designation because this too, is a cut above. Delightfully juicy with bright acidity, nice structure, and tons of personality to be found here.
This needs around 15-20 minutes of air before she really opens up. Once she does, you’ll find generous red fruits on the palate along with more earth. There’s certainly an ethereal quality to this wine. Like a ballerina, it sways to and fro, always leaving you excited and pleased. And wanting a little more. Have it. — 2 days ago
