Deep rich color and nose. Dark fruit and leather. Will likely mature over next decade. — 3 months ago
2017 vintage. Opened off the list for the Friday Lunch Bunch (FLB). Decanted and tasted after 45 minutes. Medium body. In a state of transition whereas the initially big fruit and body are thinning out. Dropped some tannins but picked up some Burgundian-styled, younger tartness-think pomegranate/cranberry. Earthy, leaner nose. 2.27.26. — a month ago
Ripe pineapple, golden straw color, has some middle weight tannins but light on the finish. Green apple, pomelo pith, flint, mineral, tropical fruit. Great wine for a meal at the Arden Waikiki. — 3 months ago

Such a beautiful wine leading with a zesty charge of cracked pepper, grilled citrus, and barnyard, while not shying away from fruitiness. Gains weight with air and a darker, more serious stewed intensity of fruit leather and earth. Drank with a friend who really appreciated it, and we both returned to our glasses repeatedly waxing poetic with our expressions. Purchased at Astor. — 4 days ago
