Smooth, tart on its own, sweetens a touch when paired with nice monkfish and fennel dish. — 7 months ago
2018 vintage. Double decanted and tasted after one hour at approx 59-60 degrees. Medium Chablis body. Lilacs, lemon curd, minerals aplenty along with a slightly curious, white pepper, finishing splash. Obviously too soon as this could easily stretch two decades. Saying this as a decided Chablis non-fan but this was arguably the best white (sparkling or flat) I've had in quite a spell. Le woof. 10.25.25. — 8 months ago
This needed some air to open showing dark cherry, berry fruit with lots of spice, earth, mineral & violets — a year ago
After a couple hours in a glass this opens up with beautiful vosne fruit. Sour cherries, licorice, black pepper, wild strawberries. Supple tannin that still seems to scream more time needed. Good stuff. Incredible QPR. — 4 years ago
Fabulous visit with Host Maxime Pindor at Michel / Frederic Magnien today! Large portfolio tasted through & enjoyed by all!
Cheers🇫🇷👍🏻👏🏻🍇🍷

Certainly not as rare as the Ponsot’s Clos des Monts Luisants, but as soon as I saw this on the wine list at reasonable price, I knew this was what I wanted to order.
The nose opens with lemon oil, white peach, crushed stones, and subtle hazelnut. The palate is supple yet lively, with vibrant acidity framing ripe orchard fruit and a cool, chalk-driven core. A faint floral note and gentle oak spice add complexity. Elegant with refined balance. — 7 months ago
