Light and fast. Fruit blackberry, raspberry, short pepper spice top of throat -2022 vintage "not old world" — 6 months ago
This is nicely done. A bit on the “in your face” side, it’s got loads of rich, plummy Merlot fruit, a fair whack of French oak, and loamy earth notes. Rich, darkly fruity, a bit chocolatey in the mouth. Still a fair amount of soft, side-of-the-mouth-clingy tannin left. More youthful than its 12-year age. 15% alcohol. I prefer a slightly more reserved style, but this is impressive in its own way. — 8 months ago
Pretty light but quite round. Got a feeling of black currant. — 4 months ago
Drank this wine at a farm to table dinner and it was perfect — 6 months ago
Showing brilliantly, ripe plum but elegant as well and seamless. It made the 1989 LLC seem a little clumsy in comparison. — 10 months ago
Delicious. Classic Pinot expression but also cedar, spice, licorice. — a month ago
Totally unfamiliar with the producer. Somm dropped a glass off at my table, “Try”
Aromatically appealing with scents of cinnamon., cherry and clearly some whole cluster. All followed thru to the palate along with lots of spice and some black tea like tannin. Very nice wine but would consume over the next 2 years. — 5 months ago
So well balanced. Good fruit, white pepper, plum, cherry and the stem. Excellent with meat for dinner. Lighter bodied for ca but still substantial. This is a crowd pleaser. — 8 months ago

Ok back at the place and last time this was a fave. Today less convinced. Seems too light on its feet. Planted on 2013. Black tea, perhaps plums as they say ….20% Stems. Touch spicy, hint orange zest for folks who like spice in their Pinots it is splendid! — a month ago
