Interesting wine at a local popular tapas place in Barcelona! Nicely paired with the choices! — a year ago
What an amazing blend! Imagine your typical Gewürztraminer made subtle by its mixture with traditional Catalan varietals. I’ve found that certain meals—carbonara, some east Asian dishes, and blended soups—need a white wine in a tall, skinny bottle that doesn’t suck. This is it. — a year ago
Super tropical fruit. Medium acidity. Little minerality and earthiness. Really close to a 9. — 5 years ago
Fascinating #livermorevalley white blend with a pronounced onion + floral nose, full bodied, citrus, peach palate with plenty of lip-smacking acidity. That nose might be a unique feature of this 2017 vintage; it might scare off some people but I imagine it would be delicious with a Chinese spring onion omelette. — 6 years ago
Currently having a love affair with Alsatian and Austrian wines. Beautiful golden color, smells like musky green apple, honeydew, and sunshine. Very acidic, tense, brimming with energy, honey and apple and lime. — 7 years ago
A lovely, extremely versatile wine. Typical Bonny Doon quality. — 6 months ago
Super floral and mineral aromas and flavors, great acidity in 2021 gives this a lot of crispness and freshness, also quite dry in 2021, long, lingering finish, excellent Alsatian Muscat! — 8 months ago
Nectarine in color. Vegetal, hay, barn-y on the nose - a very surprising aroma. Round mouth feel with pleasant acidity. Getting some grapefruit and citrus and meringue on the back end. Complex wine that pairs wonderfully with a light, pasta primavera. — a year ago
Guava on the nose and guava on the palate...gorgeous yellow colour. Apricots and peaches. Lovely dessert wine but im giving a slight edge to the Groot Constantia Grand Constance. — 6 years ago
Beautiful, beautiful wine. Well integrated blend of deep red fruit and violet flowers, with a long finish and a silky texture. The aromatic white grapes really add a freshness and a lightness that makes this shine. — 7 years ago
Green apple, grapefruit, and stone. Crisp, acidic, and lightly sweet. Good flavor but a hint sour. — 4 years ago
Loved this so much we bought a case. Great for a hot spring day in California! Dry and crisp, fruity with an acidic finish. Very nice — 6 years ago
Perfect everyday white. Aromatic, fruity florals with notes of lychee, white peach, and apple blossom with a Meyer lemon candy twist. — 7 years ago

These are recalled impressions, not contemporaneous notes, from two nights ago, when the family council of elders met for a steak/wine pairing event at my brother Angelo’s house.
Pregaming wine. Quite a surprise, given the varietal and its age. Fresh and fruity, very fragrant but not over the top (Muscat can be a little simple and cloying at times), quite dry. Lovely — 6 months ago
