Inky and dense, with aromas of violet and dark fruit. Multiple flavors hitting the palate, including blueberry and blackberry with a hint of earth supported by a tannic backbone. Still tight and a bit alcoholic; decanting improved things a bit but needs more time in the bottle. Good but not great. — a month ago
Bright red fruits, with cedar tartness and a hint of tar. — 18 days ago

Medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruit, floral, spice and citrus. On the palate apple, melon and peach flavors, with lemon zest, vanilla and toasty notes. Nice balance with bright acidity on long creamy finish, savory with spicy rich oaky mineral ending, very nice! — 17 days ago

Dry-Farmed, a bit of Cabernet Franc in mix, aged 20 months in mostly neutral French oak barrels. Dark Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, herbs and floral spice. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry, raspberry and cassis with espresso, cinnamon and earthy spice notes. Well balanced, lively acidity, fine tannins, long ending with fruit, cacao and tobacco spice! Nice! — a month ago

What fun. This wine trounced a much more expensive Bordeaux this evening. Drinking perfectly and fully displayed its boysenberry, chocolate and Asian spice notes. Drink now or whenever it seems well in hand for another decade. — 5 days ago
