Petrol undertones show first, lovely apricot aromas and flavors, this is still incredibly youthful, this wine will probably outlast me, long, lingering finish, but this really holds at the sweetness level (Spatlese) and isn’t in any way cloying, great juice!! — a month ago

I actually enjoy drinking good Riesling Kabs (and some Spatlese) on their own, but find that, to my taste, they never quite fit in with the things I typically eat. But I could smell and sip for hours!
@Tom Casagrande you are not in Asian dishes, Tom? They are perfect to fit with Riesling…
@Peter van den Besselaar - I do like Asian dishes! And I like Alsace Riesling and other Alsace varietals with some Asian dishes. It’s just the German Kabs and Spatleses that I (subjectively) find to be overwhelmed by such dishes.

Must be one of the best Kabinetts going around. Peach and mineral for days - the latter a product of the slatey notes of the Sonnenuhr. Hard to see it getting better than it is now although lacks the complexity of Prum’s better cuvées. — 2 days ago
